Not every kitchen needs to be
completely torn out—
and not every contractor will tell you that.
from cabinet refacing to full renovations
At Mid-Ohio Interiors, we help homeowners choose the right approach based on their space, goals, and budget. For many homes, a professionally executed cabinet reface delivers the updated look of a new kitchen without the cost and disruption of a full renovation.
what a kitchen reface includes
Every cabinet reface is carefully planned to give your kitchen a completely refreshed appearance.
Our process includes:
Repairing and preparing existing cabinet boxes
Professional on-site painting of cabinet boxes
Custom-built replacement doors and drawer fronts
New Blum® soft-close hinges and hardware
Your choice of door profiles and styles, including Shaker, Beveled Shaker, Bead, and more
Is Cabinet Refacing Right for You?
If your existing cabinet layout works well, replacing everything often isn't necessary.
Cabinet refacing transforms the appearance of your kitchen by preserving the existing cabinet framework while replacing the visible components with custom-built materials and refinishing everything to create a cohesive, like-new appearance.
It's one of the most cost-effective ways to dramatically update a kitchen while maintaining the quality of your existing cabinetry.
The result: a kitchen that looks completely updated without the expense of replacing every cabinet.
built for long-term performance
Not all cabinet doors are made the same.
Our cabinet doors and drawer fronts are precision-machined from a single piece of High-Density Fiberboard (HDF), rather than traditional five-piece construction.
Why that matters:
Precision-built for an exact fit
No cracking or warping over time
Ultra-smooth finish that’s easy to clean
Built to withstand the wear of everyday family life
the result: a construction method designed for durability as much as appearance.
Precision from Start
to Finish
Every replacement door and drawer front is manufactured using CNC technology for exceptional consistency and accuracy.
Once the doors are complete, we carefully color-match the existing cabinet boxes on site using Sherwin-Williams® Gallery Series paint.
Rather than trying to match paint to a finished cabinet door, we reverse the process—providing the exact paint color to the manufacturer before production begins. This extra step helps ensure the cabinet boxes, doors, and drawer fronts blend together as one seamless kitchen.
It's a level of attention to detail most homeowners never see—but they immediately notice the finished result.
Durable Finishes Made
for Everyday Life
Your kitchen works hard every day, and your cabinetry should too.
Our cabinet doors receive a professional two-component polyurethane finish designed for exceptional durability and stain resistance.
The result is an ultra-smooth finish that's easy to clean and built to withstand the wear of everyday family life.
